Hi, I am Nadine Lière, the creator of GrenadineART and Lazy Tiger.
Colors, organic shapes and patterns found in nature and everyday life have always been a source of inspiration for me. I let these impressions interact in my imagination to create artworks around movement, light and contrast, often adding dreamlike ideas, and a touch of creative craziness.
I spent a couple of years traveling large parts of Europe with my sketchbook always ready to capture new impressions and the small details most people walk past. During these journeys between Lapland and Morocco, I found inspiration in forests, harbors, cities, islands, coastal landscapes, and the people I met, and created countless watercolor paintings along the way. All my adventures taught me to keep an open mind, stay curious, and trust that creativity can feel at home wherever life takes you.
Later, I worked mainly with acrylics — painting landscapes, animals, and scenes from places I love. I exhibited my work in my two home countries, France and Germany, taking part in art fairs and local events, and began accepting commissions as I moved from hobbyist to officially registered artist. Many of those paintings found new homes, and the positive reception strengthened my confidence to turn my passion into a profession.
Discovering digital painting eventually opened a whole new chapter for me. It allows me to be creative and work from anywhere, linger on details for as long as they need, and revisit older ideas with fresh energy — all without the limitations of traditional mediums. It also lets me share my work with more people. Instead of giving a physical painting to one collector, I can create prints so the same artwork can be enjoyed by anyone who connects with it.
Today my art is divided into two creative worlds.
GrenadineART is where fine art digital painting, my true passion, takes center stage. I create painterly pieces that blend figurative and semi‑abstract elements, often inspired by impressionism. My themes revolve around the beauty of nature, animals, travel, music, and people I feel connected to. Some works are expressive and loose; others are highly detailed scenes I spend endless hours shaping.
This part of my work is available as fine art prints, created from hand‑drawn digital artworks that are intentionally crafted to look like real paintings — with visible brushstrokes, expressive shapes and lines, and an authentic visual character. Printed on premium fine art paper, they carry the same richness and depth as traditional artworks.
Lazy Tiger is the playful and cheeky side of my creativity, with funny cartoon‑like characters that come to life on graphic t‑shirts and posters. It all started with a drawing I printed on a shirt just for fun, and a friend who immediately asked to have one too. That moment made me realize how much joy these lighthearted designs could bring. From there, Lazy Tiger evolved into its own little world — a place for humor, cute animal characters, and a reminder not to take things too seriously. It still amazes me to see something I drew end up hanging in someone’s home or being worn on a t‑shirt.
For those who know me, I’ve never been the type to fit into a single drawer. One day I’m immersed in a lush botanical, then I’m creating a travel‑inspired illustration of a place that fascinates me, and right after that you’ll find me scribbling a mischievous dino eating a slice of pizza. No problem — that’s just how my creativity works. No matter which side brought you here, I’m glad you found your way in.
